We've been running the Jack friendship theme for over a month now, and I confess that I'm surprised to see so few recs. Here are the three that were posted:

Shall we chalk it down to August and the general lack of fannishness during that time? Don't forget that even when we move on to different themes, recs that fit other themes (or no themes at all) are always welcome.

Now it's time to consider what next. Among other things, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are coming up, and I'm usually offline completely for two weeks and then too busy for another two weeks after that to do more that take a quick look at my inbox and reading circle. So the comm will have to run itself for a while. I'm not too worried about that -- entries are relatively infrequent, and most of those of you who do rec seem to have the hang of it by now :) -- but whatever gets decided, it should be something that can putter along on its own.
