Why this should be read: As paian is so brilliant at doing, in a short 580 words, she manages to capture Teal'c's sense of self, his feelings about being on Earth versus Chulak, his quiet nobility, and the millennia that encompass the history since humans were first taken from the first world, scattered amongst the stars, and changed. It's a quietly moving portrait of Teal'c as the self-aware embodiment of the reunion between Jaffa and Earth.

To encourage submissions, I am going to post each Tuesday or Wednesday with a suggested theme or character for recs.
