Many thanks to those of you who participated in the poll from earlier this week!

The results show that while many of you would prefer the same or greater frequency of recs, the important thing is that the comm remain active; that most of you are hoping to see recs from others, but would be willing to contribute on occasion; that the themes are popular, but that non-themed recs are always welcomed, too; that most of you are open to the idea of volunteer weeks; and that while apocafic is (to me) surprisingly popular, friendship themes get the highest billing.

We'll be trying the volunteer week idea sometime in the next month or so. In the meantime, though, our new theme is going to be friendship specific, as that garnered the most votes. Since I adore the big guy, we'll be starting with Teal'c friendship. That means that we're looking for any gen fic that features Teal'c's friendship with somebody. That somebody can be Jack or Sam or Daniel or Janet or Bra'tac or Cameron or Vala or Hammond -- anyone, really, as long as Teal'c is part of the equation!

If you choose to contribute a rec with this theme -- and I hope many of you do! -- please make sure that your categories include theme: teal'c friendship as well as the specific friendship tag. For example, a Teal'c and Daniel friendship story (and please, yes, I WANT THOSE) should include both theme: teal'c friendship and friendship: teal'c and daniel. You are welcome to either tag your story yourself or merely list the desired tags in the category section, and I'll do the tagging for you. If the specific tag you need is not available, just list it in the category section and I'll it as soon as possible.
